Project Coordinator (Full-time)
Donorly seeks a full-time Project Coordinator to lead the execution of fundraising projects for nonprofit clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables and seamless collaboration across our team.
The salary for this position is in the range of $59,000 to $66,000.
Donorly is a remote workplace. Candidates living outside NYC are welcome to apply.

Donorly is a dynamic, growing consulting firm that works with small and midsized nonprofit organizations – both startups and established organizations – to create and implement strategies that expand fundraising capacity. Through our services, our clients access resources that allow them to realize their mission, serve their stakeholders, and make change in the world. Our services include campaign counsel, donor research, interim staffing, design and implementation of fundraising strategy, and board development.
Donorly is a distributed/remote/virtual workplace. Team members work virtually from across the United States. We are headquartered in New York City.

Key Qualities & Skills
Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Proactive mindset: You anticipate needs, initiate next steps, and drive progress forward.
Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills.
Keen eye for quality: You ensure all client materials are polished, accurate, and on-brand.
Comfort with technology (project management tools, databases, Canva, etc.).
A solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience in nonprofit fundraising, grant writing, or development operations.
Exposure to donor research, prospect management, or client-facing consulting.
Familiarity with high-level decision-makers (e.g., executives, board members).
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Project Leadership
Own end-to-end execution of client projects, ensuring deadlines and goals are met.
Proactively initiate and update client materials (reports, proposals, donor communications) without waiting for consultant direction.
Track progress, manage timelines, and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
Materials & Quality Control
Lead the creation, refinement, and finalization of all client-facing materials.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client objectives.
Coordinate reviews, edits, and approvals with internal teams.
Client & Team Coordination
Serve as the operational point of contact for clients, providing updates and ensuring transparency.
Facilitate internal collaboration—assign tasks, streamline workflows, and optimize processes.
Process Improvement
Identify inefficiencies and implement better systems for project execution.

High-quality deliverables completed on time, without last-minute scrambles.
Clients feel supported with clear communication and proactive updates.
Internal teams run smoothly—tasks are delegated, deadlines are met, and everyone knows their role.
You own the process, driving projects forward with minimal oversight.
